What is the shelf life of your chocolate and how do you store it?
You can find the shelf life and storage instructions for our collections here. We also recommend looking at the Details & Care section on a product page to find information about an individual item. "Shelf life" refers to the length of time the product will remain fresh after it has left our headquarters.
- Most of our truffles have a shelf-life of 14 days except for the Rooster (exclusive to the Collezione Italiana) which has a 10-day shelf life.
- Exotic Caramels and toffee have a shelf-life ranging from 2-5 months from the production date.
- Chocolate bars have a shelf life ranging from 6-12 months from the production date.
We recommend refrigerating our truffles until you are ready to enjoy them, at which time you can leave them out to come down to room temperature. While this is recommended, refrigeration is not required and they can also remain at room temperature for the remainder of its shelf life (unless stated otherwise on the product packaging). All other haut-chocolat can be stored at room temperature.
Our truffles can also be frozen for up to 8 weeks if you would like to enjoy them at a later date.
